Electric Maestro - "Autumn Dreams"

note: My paying supporters had this back in June. If you would like to support the music, please head over to https://buymeacoffee.com/waynebo

In 2015, I began recording music under the name Electric Maestro. I recorded several tracks for a project that was supposed to be released that October titled “Autumn Dreams”. It began as deep, midtempo house tracks and spread into other styles as I worked to find a musical identity for Electric Maestro.

Ultimately, I realized there were some major technical flaws in the mixing of the album so I pulled the plug on the project with the intention of starting over from scratch, re-doing all of the mixes and releasing it the next year. At that time I was still busy creating episodes of The Afterglow and working on other music so a year passed before I brought my attention back to the Electric Maestro project. Unfortunately, around that time I suffered a major hard drive crash and my lack of diligence in backing up my data was exposed in the worst way. I lost a lot of music – including all of the source files for the “Autumn Dreams” tracks.

Recently, I found myself listening to the rough drafts I still had of these tracks thinking “these still sound pretty good. I should share them”. So here ya go. “Autumn Dreams” as close to my original vision as I could get it. You may have heard a few of these tracks on the Electric Maestro Bandcamp page or on my YouTube page 10 years ago. I even played one of them on The Afterglow. My studio skills have improved greatly over the last 10 years so I was able to improve the sound of the rough draft mixes in a way I was not capable of back then. I hope you enjoy it.

p.s. You won't find this one on streaming services. Only on my website & Bandcamp.
