On Christmas Eve, I sat down to review the sounds on a new synth I downloaded. I planned to spend an hour doing that and then resume working on a remix to a track I made in honor of my Dad - he passed away on November 8. (That track is coming in January. Stay tuned!)
Anyway, as I went through the sounds a melody began to come to me and inspiration for a new track invaded the session. It was totally unexpected and I had a lot of fun making this one. The result is “The Wake-Up Call”.
The sound of this track is very different from the music I have been working on this year have scheduled for release in 2019, but it’s an important step toward the sound I’m developing for my sync licensing efforts. I don’t plan to do a proper release on this one, but I love how it turned out so I figured I would just share it.
