I must say, reading this article has completely changed my view on Spotify in particular and streaming services in general. I certainly learned quite a bit from a pretty short feature. It breaks down some details I wasn't clear on. It isn't a perfect solution, but it's the best one I've seen so far and it's a step in the right direction.
I've always been a person that buys music, but I know lots of people who refuse to pay for anything and will only listen or download if it's free. As a musician, I am glad that somebody has figured out a way that I can still make some money off of listeners who won't buy. The more money I can make through music, the more time I get to spend creating it.
I will definitely be using Spotify even more (and sharing links). I already have some music on there and just found out I made a little bit of money I didn't know about.
